Kat Walser (E-YRT) began her enduring love affair with yoga when she walked into her first yoga class as a sixteen-year-old. Since then, she has been fortunate to study with renowned teachers such as Shiva Rea and Hala Khouri at Exhale Center for Sacred Movement and YogaWorks while living in Los Angeles, California, and has continued her studies with world-renowned teachers from her current home base in Lugano, Switzerland. As a teacher, Kat is honored to share with her students the transformative power of yoga asana, pranayama, meditation, and philosophy. Kat currently teaches a wide variety of Yoga classes, including Vinyasa, Aerial, Hatha, Restorative, Yin, and Yoga for Athletes. Most recently, Kat has been certified in the Unnata Aerial Yoga Method, bringing another dimension to traditional terrestrial (floor-based) asana classes. She also teaches Prenatal Yoga and Yoga for Children, using her intuition and experience as a mother of two young children to help guide her in her classes. Kat has worked in collaboration with schools, corporations, and professional athletic teams to integrate the stress-relieving benefits of yoga for real-world people and situations. Always a student first, Kat is profoundly grateful to all her teachers and looks forward to a lifetime of learning and evolving in both her teaching and personal practice.
